Another weight control hormone affected by sugar is Insulin. The body also builds up a resistance to the insulin which can give rise to all types of metabolic diseases such as liver cirrhosis. This chemical imbalance can lead to depression and may even increase the long-term risk of developing a mental health disorder in some people. A lot of the foods on this list will have sugar in their ingredients.

Processed food are products created by a lot of food industry’s primarily made with salt, sugar and oil along with other substances. consuming these can lead to inflammation throughout the body and brain, which may contribute to mood disorders, including anxiety and depression.
