A garden on the balcony #5

Summertime has gone and with it all those delicious summer vegetables. Hopefully, you were able to pick enough during the summer to preserve in some way, giving you a taste of summer even in the depths of winter.

It might not be courgette and tomato season any longer but there are still plenty of tasty vegetables in season and also many that you can start planting.

What can I plant in October?

Everything that is a bulb, like garlic and onions, for instance.

If you are looking for vegetables to plant, give peas a go in October and even into November.

Have fun with your plans in the gardening, eat well and remember:

Life is for cooking!
